Hey you. I hope you’re well. A quick note to remind you that I’m playing at the Kontra Roots club in Finedon, Northants on Friday and I’m at the Guitar Bar in Nottingham on Saturday. Sadly, Jinder has got laryngitis and is being forced to rest his voice for these two shows. On the bill Saturday will be the ‘Rutland Troubadour’ Paul McClure who is a terrific singer and songwriter with a dry wit that catches me out every time and who has kindly stepped in at the last minute. I’m still stuck in the world of Bob Dylan and am finally ‘getting’ the poetry and the music. He’s on another level. Till next time. PJM x
Tour going great. A lot of coffee on the road trips; a lot of Bob Dylan on the stereo; a lot of really lovely people in the crowd; a lot shouting at the moon on the way home. Camden this Thursday (19 Feb). Tickets here. Mick Terry joins us on this one with some of his beautiful open-tuned, rich and well-judged songs. Hope you can make it. She packed my bags last night pre-flight/zero hour: 9.00 a.m.
Look how happy I am!
